AUSTIN, TX – eCatholic, a leading provider of SaaS-based website, donation, and live streaming video solutions for faith-based institutions in the United States and internationally, has acquired GabrielSoft, a cloud-based provider of church management software (ChMS).
Designed for both individual parishes and multi-parish dioceses, GabrielSoft facilitates parishioner relationship management, committee management & scheduling, and member communications. It also includes functionality that enables dioceses to manage Annual Appeals, Issues, and Diocese-wide funds.
“Our mission is simple: to help the Church fulfill her mission of evangelization by providing amazing software and phenomenal service,” stated Josh Simmons, Founder and CEO of eCatholic. “GabrielSoft will help us continue on the path towards this vision.”
In addition to expanding eCatholic’s presence in the Catholic market, the acquisition of GabrielSoft will enable churches to manage mission critical data, marketing, and communication workflows all within the same platform – creating valuable administrative time savings and enhancing the church’s ability to serve her members.
“Our goal has always been to provide software that ensures administrative work does not detract from valuable time that can be devoted to ministry,” said Armand Brunelle, Founder and CEO of GabrielSoft. “Now that Gabriel has joined the eCatholic family, parishes and dioceses can finally streamline ALL of their data and communications through one centralized platform.”
Greenridge supported eCatholic through the critical stages of due diligence and made a subsequent investment in eCatholic to help fund the transaction. Said Josh Simmons, “Greenridge was a critical thought partner in evaluating this combination all along the way. Their support helped us avoid getting bogged down by executing the transaction – and remain focused on delighting our customers.”
“We are thrilled to bring GabrielSoft’s mission-oriented team and best-in-class ChMS product under the eCatholic umbrella,” said Ben Moss, Partner at Greenridge Growth Partners and board member at eCatholic. “This partnership is a testament to both companies’ dedication to hearing – and solving – their customers’ biggest pain points, and we believe this combination will unlock even more value for the customers they serve.”
