James Baker
As a Partner, James is involved in all aspects of the firm’s investment activities. After starting his career as an investment banker at Harris Williams & Co., James jumped at the opportunity to join Greenridge as the firm’s first Associate hire in 2013. James relishes the opportunity to learn something new every day working with entrepreneurs and management teams to build great businesses. Outside the office, you will find James spending time with his wife, Michelle, their two daughters, and their dog, Bella. He enjoys getting outside with his family, cooking for friends, and convincing himself every year that this will finally be the season for his Vanderbilt Commodores and Jacksonville Jaguars. James is also a member of All Saints Presbyterian Church and has held various board roles at the Austin Sunshine Camps and PelotonU, a college completion non-profit serving working adults.
Jennifer Baker
Jennifer is the Controller at Greenridge and is responsible for the firm’s accounting, treasury, tax and human resource operations. Jennifer began her career in public accounting at PricewaterhouseCoopers after graduating from Texas A&M University. In the years since, Jennifer has worked with businesses large and small, but has always gravitated towards opportunities to work directly with founders. At Greenridge, Jennifer enjoys being part of a team that influences significant change and growth for lower middle market organizations. Outside of the office, Jennifer stays very busy with her husband, Travis, and their four young children. On any given weekend you will find her at a softball game, horse show, swim meet, soccer game, or watching Aggie Football. Jennifer is very involved in her children’s school, serves on a number of boards and non-profit organizations, and is a long-term member of Austin Ridge Bible Church.
Andrew Bell
Andrew is a Vice President at Greenridge and is focused on value creation and growth across the firm’s portfolio companies. Andrew supports Greenridge companies across a variety of operational areas but focuses especially on revenue growth and go-to-market. He is a native Austinite and University of Virginia graduate with a B.S. in Finance from UVA’s McIntire School of Commerce. Prior to joining Greenridge, Andrew worked in the operating arm of Vista Equity Partners, where he developed a passion for partnering with and supporting growth-stage software companies. When not talking about B2B SaaS, he can be found playing tennis, swimming, or supporting UVA sports with his wife, Ally.
Ellie Bush
Ellie is the Office Manager at Greenridge and helps with administration, event planning, and marketing. She is a graduate of the University of Richmond, earning a B.A. in Leadership from the Jepson School of Leadership Studies. Outside of work, Ellie enjoys listening to live music, trying new coffee shops, and bringing her camera everywhere.
Jack Cardwell
Jack is a Managing Partner at Greenridge and is involved in all aspects of the firm’s operations. He has spent over 20 years in private equity after beginning his career as an investment banker in New York. Jack worked in larger market private equity at Greenhill Capital Partners in New York and Parthenon Capital in Boston. He fell in love with lower middle market investing during his eight years at Blue Sage Capital. Jack grew up in Austin and relishes the opportunity to build Greenridge in his hometown, surrounded by family and friends. When not in the office, Jack can most often be found with his family on a baseball field, golf course, cheering on the Longhorns, or enjoying some other outdoor activity. He is an avid reader, a (sometimes) competitive amateur golfer, an engaged participant in education-focused charities, and a dedicated member of Austin Ridge Bible Church. More than anything, he is blessed with a wonderful wife, Emily, and their two sons.
Elizabeth Horton
Elizabeth is an Associate at Greenridge and is involved in all aspects of the firm’s sourcing and market discovery efforts. She was born and raised in Austin, TX, and is a graduate of The University of Texas at Austin. Elizabeth enjoys wearing many hats as part of the team at Greenridge. Before joining Greenridge, Elizabeth worked for Crosstimbers Capital Group, a Texas-based investment firm providing growth capital to founder-led companies, and before that as a digital analyst in Washington, D.C. A true Austinite, Elizabeth can often be found swimming at Barton Springs or walking town lake with her friends when she isn’t trying one of Austin’s many up and coming restaurants.
Gary Loudamy
Gary is an Operating Partner at Greenridge and is involved in partner company operations. Gary brings 30 years of Fortune 100 business experience to our firm, including a diverse career in a variety of leadership roles with Johnson & Johnson, where he developed expertise in the fields of Human Resource Management, Process Improvement, Strategic Planning, Change Management, Integration of Acquisitions, and Leadership Development. Gary grew up in Texas and, after serving in the U.S. Army, graduated from Texas A&M. Gary is actively involved as a leader at All Saints Presbyterian church. He and his delightful wife Gail enjoy traveling, hiking, tennis, and reading. A special pleasure is spending time with their family which includes two daughters and four lovely grandchildren.
Ben Moss
Ben is a Managing Partner at Greenridge and is involved in all aspects of the firm’s operations. He has over 20 years of experience helping entrepreneurs build high growth businesses. Prior to co-founding Greenridge, Ben was a senior investment professional with Centennial Ventures, a communications, media, and technology-focused investment firm that worked closely with founders and entrepreneurs across all stages of private equity.  Ben also served as an executive for a dot-com start-up, Grande Communications, and began his career as an investment banker at Merrill Lynch. Outside the office, you will find Ben and his wife, Courtney, attempting to keep up with two teenage girls and their younger brother. Ben also enjoys running on the Lady Bird Lake trail, working on his golf game, and doing his part to support Austin’s Tex-Mex establishments. He is a founding member of All Saints Presbyterian Church and an active supporter of several Austin non-profits.
Dallen Nelson
Dallen is an Associate at Greenridge and is involved in the firm’s sourcing and market discovery efforts. He grew up in San Diego, but returned to his family’s native home of Austin where he attended the University of Texas and received a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the Cockrell School of Engineering. After graduating, Dallen worked for various startups where he developed a passion for innovative, growing technology companies. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Mia, rock climbing, and beating Andrew in chess.
Daniel Perry
Daniel is an Associate at Greenridge and is involved in all aspects of the firm’s investment activities. Born and raised in Austin, TX, he completed his undergraduate studies at Baylor University, earning a B.B.A. in Finance and Economics, and a Minor in Mathematics. Daniel started his career in healthcare mergers & acquisitions before spending several years at Keller Capital as an associate focused on their private equity portfolio. Outside of work he enjoys spending time with his friends, his wife, Tessa, and his dog, Tucker. Daniel loves most activities and especially enjoys skiing, pickleball, basketball, and golf.
Scott Shapiro
Scott is a Principal at Greenridge and is involved in all aspects of the firm’s investment activities. Scott developed a passion for the lower middle market while working as an investment banker at Lincoln International in New York, where he helped bootstrapped software businesses navigate the M&A process. Eager to find a way to work with founders in a more long-term capacity, Scott moved to Austin and joined Greenridge as an Associate in 2016. When not in the office, Scott can most often be found exploring the Austin restaurant scene, mountain biking on the Greenbelt, or remodeling his home with his wife, Ellen. Scott is a native of St. Louis, MO and a graduate of Indiana University, where he earned a B.S. in Business Administration from the Kelley School of Business.
Tim Wilson
Tim is a Senior Associate at Greenridge and is involved in all aspects of the firm’s investment activities. After beginning his career as an engineer, he transitioned to investment banking at Morgan Stanley in San Francisco, where he developed a passion for finance and partnering with dynamic, growing companies. Tim holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Texas and an MBA from the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business. Outside of Greenridge, Tim loves playing sports of all kinds, exploring the outdoors with his wife, and learning with his two kids.
Tucker Wise
Tucker is an Analyst at Greenridge and is involved in all aspects of the firm’s investment activities. He graduated summa cum laude from the University of Oklahoma, earning a B.B.A. in Finance and Accounting. Tucker’s passion for investing led him to join Greenridge, where he contributes to the firm’s investment origination and execution. Outside of the office, he enjoys spending time on the lake or exploring Austin’s vibrant restaurant scene. Tucker is enthusiastic about being part of the Greenridge team and making a meaningful impact on the firm’s investment endeavors.
Greyson Zaun
Greyson is a Senior Associate at Greenridge and is involved in all aspects of the firm’s investment activities. He was born and raised in Des Moines, IA and is a graduate of the University of Iowa, where he earned a B.B.A. in Finance and Economics from the Tippie College of Business. After graduation, Greyson began his career in Chicago as an analyst for Barclays, where he focused on mergers and acquisitions and strategic advisory across the software, business services, and financial sponsor landscapes. Greyson is a die-hard Hawkeye football fan and loves to play alternative and folk rock songs on the guitar. When not in the office, he can most often be found exploring the city of Austin with friends or running alongside one of Austin’s many lakes.
